Samulnori Dance : A Korean Traditional Dance Which is So Popular in The World
Posted by Aka Kobo at 4:11 PMGuys, if you have been to Korea, have you watched Korean traditional dance ? Especially Samulnori Dance.
SamulNori is a combination of the Korean words Samul (to play) and
Nori (four things). The four things are instruments including the k’kwaenggwari, ching, changgo, and buk style drums. SamulNori combines the
tradition of farmers’ bands with that of traveling entertainers called Namsadang.
And also you can view live Samulnori in this video :
And don't forget to visit http://www.ibuzzkorea.com for viewing Korea live and I am sure if you will be attracted to go to Korea soon!

August 1, 2011 at 6:56 AMI just wanted to let you know that the picture you have here is actually of fan dance, not samulnori. Samulnori is not always accompanied by dance, and if it is, it's called "poong-mul" and the percussionists do the dance themselves as they play the drums.- Aka Kobo said...
